After attending the University of Texas at Dallas to attain a Bachelors of Science Degree, Albert Angarita spent over a decade in various leadership roles, from teaching and absorbing professional development skills at the Zig Ziglar Corporation - under the mentorship of Bryan Flaningan,  to managing teams in medical bill-review negotiations, recruiting, and real estate - working at DFW's largest privately owned brokerages, Rogers Healy & Associates and Monument Realty. 

 

Unlike most real estate agents, Albert has the advantage of personally managing dozens of large-scale home remodeling projects, while contributing to the development of MTR Contractors,  in Frisco, Texas. Now, one of DFW's top-rated remodeling firms, and The First Place BBB 2025 Torch of Ethics Winner.

Our Journey So Far

2009

MTR ( MY THATCH ROOF ) IS FOUNDED

Our journey in real-estate started before the Market Crash of 2008. Albert Angarita Sr. sold a successful commercial services business, invested heavily in Florida, and lost. Those lessons taught us to have empathy around foreclosures, and 

 understand the importance of properly underwriting deals. Our love for Florida, and the beach in general, inspired the inception of My Thatch Roof in Frisco, Texas. A unique outdoor living company servicing the resort and hospitality sector at an international level. Our 20-year warranty synthetic-thatch cedar palapas are the perfect blend of Texas durability, and tropical luxury. Two decades later, we've now shipped our structures all over the world. 

2015

MTR ( MORE THAN REMODELING) IS FOUNDED

Working heavily in both commercial and residential spaces in Texas, we found our way into interior and exterior remodeling -quickly becoming one of the most trusted names in North Texas for premium remodeling. In the last decade, we've worked with countless large commercial luxury-brands, builders, developers, and more.
